How we treat

Sports and remedial massage therapy is a form of manual therapy involving a blend of tissue stretching, tissue compression and toning.

The main purpose of massage therapy is to bring about the alleviation of stress and tension which builds up in the body’s tissues due to excessive physical, emotional and postural stress.

If used correctly, it can help to address niggling injuries and muscular soreness that results from sporting or other injuries. It is also an extremely useful form of emotional and psychological stress relief for the mind, and it can be positively used in conjunction with other therapies to address a variety of complaints including sleep disorders, anxiety and digestive issues.

Anyone can benefit from massage, not only sports people, including people in physically demanding jobs and anyone who is experiencing muscular soreness due to heavy levels of stress in their lives.

At Evolution Rehab, our massage therapists are highly skilled and they are also well versed in movement rehabilitation to help you address many of the muscular aches and pains that come along with working hard both in the office and in the gym. Or simply treat yourself to a nice and relaxing massage to help you physically and mentally unwind from your busy life.
