Leonard Azzopardi-Weitze

Associate Osteopath

Leonard graduated from the European School of Osteopathy with a Master’s Degree in Osteopathic Medicine. Leonard was attracted to Osteopathy through a strong interest in sports and movement. With a prior background of competing in athletics and various team sports, Leonard has always had a strong passion in training, movement performance and understanding how the body evolves in response to sports and physical activity.

Prior to qualifying as an osteopath, Leonard initially developed his knowledge of training and movement by qualifying as a REPS level 3 personal trainer. He has a broad experience both training and participating within a wide range of sporting and physical activities. Through this experience, he has developed a unique understanding for how the body is able to shape and specifically adapt itself in response to different physical activities.

Leonard likes to treat patients of all ages and backgrounds. He passionately believes within the inherent self-healing capability of our bodies and that everyone has the power achieve optimum health within themselves. He has interests in sports performance, movement rehabilitation, paediatric osteopathy and lifestyle medicine. Leonard loves the outdoors, especially the sea. In his spare time, he is a novice free-diver and he also enjoys practising yoga, hiking, cycling and sharing life with his friends and family.
